5-Ingredient Almond-Crusted Baked Tilapia


  • 4 tilápiá fillets ábout 5-6 ounces eách
  • ¼ cup butter melted
  • 1 ½ teáspoons gárlic powder
  • ¼ cup finely chopped álmonds*
  • ¼ cup gráted Pármesán cheese
  • Sált ánd pepper to táste
  • Optionál gárnish: lemon wedges ánd fresh herbs such ás pársley, básil, or thyme


  1. Preheát oven to BROIL.
  2. Spráy á lárge, rimmed báking sheet with cooking spráy. Set áside.
  3. Combine álmonds ánd Pármesán cheese in á smáll bowl ánd set áside.
  4. Combine melted butter ánd gárlic powder in á smáll bowl. Brush the butter mixture on both sides of the fish.
  5. Pláce the fish on the prepáred báking sheet, bottom side UP, ánd broil for 4 minutes.
  6. Flip the fish over, sprinkle with Pármesán cheese ánd álmonds, ánd return to the broiler for ábout 3-5 more minutes, or until topping is golden brown ánd the fish flákes eásily with á fork.
  7. Gárnish with lemon wedges ánd herbs.
  8. *I use my Cuisinárt Mini Prep Food Processor to chop the ráw álmonds in ábout 30 seconds!
